From someone who lives here

Fire extinguisher inspection and service, CPR and first aid training, and AEDs. I handle the compliance so you don't have to worry about it.

Travis Miller

Owner of Island Fire & Safety. I've spent 25+ years in fire, EMS and emergency management across Southeast Alaska. I'm the former Fire Chief of the Gustavus Volunteer Fire Department and the former Health & Safety Officer for Sitka Tribe of Alaska. At Sitka Fire Department I worked up to volunteer Fire Captain and EMT-3, and I'm now an auxiliary member.

I'm an Alaska Portable Fire Extinguisher Technician I (permit 23-0058-FE) and an HSI-certified CPR and first aid instructor. Island Fire & Safety is an HSI Certified Training Center. These days I teach CPR and first aid, inspect and service fire extinguishers, and sell AEDs as an authorized reseller.
