Workplace Safety Training FAQ
Yes. Our workplace safety courses are OSHA-authorized and meet federal OSHA compliance requirements. Certificates are accepted by Alaska employers, federal contractors, and OSHA 10/30 programs are recognized nationally. If your employer has a specific training standard, confirm that requirement before enrolling.
Most workplace safety course certificates do not expire, but OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 cards are generally accepted indefinitely unless an employer or contract requires periodic renewal. Some industries recommend refresher training every 3-5 years. Check with your employer or project owner for their specific renewal policy.
Yes. All workplace safety courses are fully online and mobile-friendly. You can complete them on any smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop with an internet connection. Courses are self-paced — start, stop, and pick up where you left off at any time.
Your certificate is available immediately upon passing the final assessment. You can download and print it right away. OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 wallet cards are mailed after the course provider verifies completion, typically within 2-3 weeks.
OSHA 10 is a 10-hour introductory course covering fundamental workplace hazard recognition and basic safety practices — suited for entry-level workers. OSHA 30 is a 30-hour advanced course designed for supervisors, foremen, and safety personnel who need deeper knowledge of OSHA standards and compliance responsibilities. Both are available in General Industry and Construction versions.
Alaska-based employers are subject to federal OSHA standards (Alaska has a State Plan covering most private-sector workers). Our OSHA-authorized courses meet those federal standards. For specific industries like maritime or fishing, additional certifications may be required — contact us if you have questions about your industry's requirements.
